The club racing has been a great success this year. Conducted at Redland Business Park, all participants have been treated to a great safe circuit and loads of fine and competition. Thank you to Billy and Nelda for their valuable time and dedication, and to all participants that make it fun. Here's looking forward to 2012!!!

Sandy Bletchly has been recognised by Cycling Queensland for her amazing achievements this year. Last Saturday night Sandy was crowned Queensland Masters Female Track Cyclist of the year for 2011. Very well done Sandy!!!!! This follows Sandy's amazing results when competing in the World Masters Track Championships in Manchester England in October.

At the Ipswich open last weekend WRCC riders performed very well despite the tough course. Lee Stariha (pictured) finished 3rd in B Grade and Mark Wakeling won the D Grade. Col Marchant finished 2nd with Tim Daley and Frans De Beurs just off the podium in the Masters C Grade. Well done guys.

What a well deserved victory for Mel. After relentless training, followed by fantastic wins in her last three 70.3 Ironman races, she blitzed the world class field in Las Vegas by 6 minutes. That is a massive margin.
